For those who are not sure about putting up property like a home or an automobile as collateral or feel like there is a possibility of defaulting on the loan should go with the unsecured loan. It will mean paying more per month, but at least you won't lose your property.

Investigate different debt consolidation companies and track down loans that complement your financial status and current lifestyle.
